DINING AT THE FESTIVAL
A key part of the Festival experience is Glyndebourne's 90-minute interval, where you'll have the opportunity to dine at one of our restaurants.
Middle & Over Wallop restaurant offers fine dining, Nether Wallop restaurant features local, seasonal sharing dishes, and at Mildmay restaurant you can enjoy British classics in a relaxed atmosphere.
Alternatively, you can order a picnic and relax in our beautiful gardens, with views of the Sussex Downs.
To ensure an exceptional dining experience, pre-ordering and selecting your menu choices ahead of your visit is essential.

Mildmay Tearooms
Enjoy an afternoon tea before the performance at the Mildmay Tearooms. Sit inside or relax outside on the terrace on a beautiful summer's day.
Long Interval
Make the most of the 90-minute interval - dine at one of our restaurants or order a picnic.
Nether Wallop Restaurant
Start with a range of small plates to share with your party, followed by a main dish selected from that day’s menu cooked over coals – all created from the very best local, seasonal produce.
Middle & Over Wallop Restaurant
Our fine dining restaurant – an elegant setting in which to enjoy chef Steve Groves’ new menu celebrating the best of contemporary French cuisine and locally-sourced ingredients.
Mildmay Restaurant
Enjoy British favourites in a relaxed dining atmosphere.
Picnicking
For many, a Glyndebourne experience wouldn’t be complete without a picnic. Let us do the work for you – Our Traditional Picnic hampers offer an al fresco dining experience, showcasing local, sustainably sourced ingredients, freshly baked bread and celebrating traditional classics such as the Glyndebourne sausage roll. Choose your place in the garden and a table and chairs will await your arrival. And if the weather’s not favourable, you’ll have a guaranteed under-cover spot.
For 2025 we have introduced pre performance canapes or a cream tea to enhance your interval picnic.

Long Bar
Enjoy a selection of refreshments at the Long Bar, the ideal setting to gather for drinks and snacks pre-performance, during the interval and post-performance.
Feel free to order your refreshments in advance, or simply decide in the moment.
HAMLET
In the Hamlet area you will find our Deli, Coffee Hut and Bolney Bar, which offer a range of hot and cold drinks and picnic top-ups including sweet and savoury treats.
There's no need to pre-order at the Hamlet, just drop by and order in the moment.
